Enter to win a best selling novel in the “New Jersey Trivia” Book Give-A-Way Contest, October 15 through October 29.  You can win one of the best sellers displayed in the library under the “READ” sign.  HOW:   Listen to the Question of the Day on the morning announcements, and then enter your response in the LRC before 2:30 pm each day.   Winners will be chosen at random from the correct responses, and then may select the book of their choice.

Mr. Hunt will not be accepting permission slips for the October 24th SCC College Fair after Wednesday, Oct. 22.  Please be on time if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity.

The deadline for registration for the December SAT is November 5th and the deadline for the December ACT is November 7th.  Any registration after those dates will require a late fee.  See your guidance counselor if you need any assistance.

 

There is an Open House at the Delaware College of Art, Nov. 10.  Also, stop by the art room to find out more information about portfolio day dates at different Universities and various art shows.

 

Sign up now for Winter Sports Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball, Boys’ and Girls’ Bowling, Boys’ and Girls’ Swimming, Coed Winter Track, and Cheerleading.  Applications are available from coaches and Mr. Suiter.  Deadline for applications is Wednesday, November 5th. The tentative date for physicals is November 13th.

 

Attention Juniors & Seniors:  Salem Community College is offering two opportunities for you to take an SAT Prep course.  The classes run Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Carneys Point campus.  The course fee of $175 includes books and other college fees.  Call Kevin Foley at 351-2651 or e-mail him at kfoley@salemcc.edu or stop in the Guidance Office.
