HOW TO GET TO SALEM

FROM PHILADELPHIA AREA
Cross the Ben Franklin Bridge and follow I-676 south until it turns into I-76 south or cross the Walt Whitman Bridge and follow I-76 south. Exit at I-295 south (exit points you toward Delaware Memorial Bridge). Follow I-295 south to Exit 1C. Follow the exit onto Hook Road. Follow Hook Road for 6 miles until it ends at State Highway 49. Turn left on NJ 49 East to Salem.
FROM DELAWARE
Cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge and take the first exit to State Highway 49. Follow 49, east, for nine miles, through the town of Pennsville and on to Salem.
FROM THE JERSEY SHORE
From Atlantic and Ocean Counties, head to U.S. Highway 40. Follow it west through Mays Landing, through Elmer to Woodstown. In Woodstown, pick up State Highway 45 South. Follow NJ 45 until it becomes Market Street in Salem.
From Monmouth County, head to the New Jersey Turnpike. Follow it south to the last exit and take NJ 49 East to Salem.
From Cape May County, head to NJ Highway 47 or 55 and follow it west to Millville, picking up NJ Highway 49 West. Follow NJ 49 west through Millville, Bridgeton, Shiloh, and Quinton to Salem.

In Salem, Market Street is NJ Highway 45 and East and West Broadway are NJ Highway 49.

To get to Salem Middle School (SMS), turn onto Chestnut Street. After one block, turn right on Carpenter Street, then right on New Market Street. The school will be on your right.

To get to John Fenwick School (JFS), turn onto Walnut Street. Follow Walnut Street to Smith Street where you turn right. You will see the school on your left

To get to Salem High School (SHS), turn off East Broadway onto Walnut Street. Go south on Walnut Street for nine tenths of a mile until you see the school on your right./span>

Turn off East Broadway onto Walnut Street. Go south for about nine tenths of a mile, you will see the High School on your right, turn into the first school packing lot, then turn right again into the District Office gravel lot.
