The DuPont Academic League is a sort of trivia club, questions are based on random facts, similar to playing a game of Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy.

The League travels to other schools in the county to compete.  During the matches there are three rounds, 2 buzzer rounds and a speed round.  In the buzzer rounds, a team of four works individually to answer questions, if you know the answer, you buzz in.  In the speed round, your team of 4 work together to answer as many questions as possible in the given time limit.  If you are a quick thinker, the Academic League is for you.

Practices are held during homeroom, and ACER periods.  The matches are held from October through January each school year.

To qualify for the team, you must have an A/B average in all subjects.  Interested?  See an advisor to sign up for the 2010-2011 team.

Advisors: Mr. Merritt, Mr. Carney, Mrs. Mutter
