Thursday, January 21 ^st the students of Salem Middle School Concert and Select Choirs performed their annual community service concerts at the Salem Adult Day Care and Salem County Nursing Home. 

The choir performed eleven selections including "Where Are You Christmas?", a rock and roll medley of "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town", "Up on the Rooftop," and "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas", and winter poetry from American poet Emily Dickenson. The concert entitled "A Winter Wonderland." included selections in three foreign languages and covered the winter holiday season.

The choir is made up of over 80 children from 4 ^th through 8 ^th grades, is adjudicated by festival judges every year and been rated both a "superior choir" and a "choir of excellence" and is directed by Mr. Shaun M. Brauer and assisted by Ms. Patricia L. Allen.
