Salem Middle School students recognized for completion of DARE program

SALEM
— After 10 weeks spent learning about the dangers of drugs and alcohol and the importance of making positive choices, students at the Salem Middle School were recognized here for graduating from the DARE program.
The DARE program (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is designed to teach students about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse, and also to show them that police officers are there to help them.
