Salem High School looking to revive varsity wrestling

Salem High School is taking the first steps towards launching a varsity wrestling program, holding a camp next week for students in the fourth to eighth grades.

The camp will be held at Salem High School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Suiter hopes interest in the camp allows Salem to hold a wrestling club this winter with plans to expand to a midget program in 2013-2014, a high school JV program in 2014-2015 and a high school varsity program as early as 2015-2016.
