Recent visitor impressed by visit to Salem Middle School

Recently I did a guided tour of the Salem Middle School and I wanted to report on that day. I admit I was skeptical when I made my appointment to go on this tour. The results of the latest testing scores for that school were not favorable. That caused me concern as a Salem City resident. I do not have any family in that school, but nonetheless, I was concerned because this is my city and the children that attend that school are my fellow citizens. I attended a school board of education meeting to express my concern and to ask if there was any way I could help. I currently read to children in the John Fenwick School, but I wondered if I would better serve in the middle school.
