Music Around the County proudly presents in concert The Bay Atlantic Symphony Chamber Ensemble at 3:00 pm on October 5, 2014 in the Pennsville Memorial High School Auditorium. Admission is FREE.
Student Council members must see Ms. Bartlett in A50 to turn in their sub sale fundraiser money and/or tickets today. Students please stop by either during homeroom or afterschool!
The Junior Class will hold it's first meeting to prepare for the homecoming festivities on today immediately afterschool in A50.
Rowan University is once again sponsoring “A Day in the Life of a College Student.” This is an overnight visit to Rowan where you would shadow a college student from October 12th to October 13th. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the college admissions process, sit in a college class, stay in a campus residence and experience the campus social life and activities. If you are interested in experiencing this wonderful opportunity, stop in the Guidance Office to pick up the brochure and the information to apply for the program. The deadline for the application is October 3, 2014.
The Booster Club is sponsoring a mum sale for the homecoming football game on Saturday, October 18, 2014. The mums cost $5.00/each and will be used to decorate the field that day. They may be picked up after the game. Please place your order and include your name and year of graduation with Mrs. Hudock by October 8, 2014.
Representatives from various colleges will be visiting Salem High School. You can sign up to see them in the Guidance Office.
See Mrs. McCoy-Cuff in the Guidance Office if you are interested in attending a scholarship event at Lincoln Technical Institute on October 11, 2014.
Information for various art contests is posted outside C35, the art room. Various awards and/or scholarships are available throughout the year so please look often if interested.

All young men are reminded that when you turn eighteen you must register for Selective Service within 30 days of your birthday. Not registering is a felony. You will be fined $250,000 and you may also have to serve up to 5 years in prison. You will also lose certain benefits such as student financial aid, government employment, and US citizenship for male immigrants. Registration forms are available in the Main Office and at your local post office or you can register online at www.sss.gov
