Order forms for the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Fundraiser are due with the money on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 by the end of the day. See Ms. Bartlett in A50 if you have any questions.

Applications for the Teen PEP course for the 2015-2016 school year are out, please see Miss Woodlock or Mr. Levitsky if you are interested. All applications are due by March 13, 2015.


Attention Interact Club Members: We are holding our annual Damask's Easter Candy Fundraiser. If you are interested in participating, please see Ms. Nasuti in C24 for an order form. All orders and money are due by March 10, 2015.

Go online or see Ms. Gatson to complete an application for $10,000 at http:/janetlogandailyfoundation.org/application.asp by the deadline on April 1st. Also the deadline for the AAA South Jersey Scholarship in the amount of $5000 is March 31, 2015.


Tutoring by the IB students has begun in A61 from 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. The schedule is as follows:

Monday - Geometry & Spanish
Tuesday - Algebra I & II
Wednesday - Algebra I, Geometry & Spanish
Thursday - Algebra I & II
Friday - Geometry & Spanish

Staff and Students --The Walnut Street Journal needs you! Please submit short stories, essays, poetry, original artwork and photography to Ms. Lamont in Room A61. These works will be published in the annual Walnut Street Journal this spring.

Seniors: There is a $10,000 scholarship opportunity supported by Founders Education called the Janet Logan Early Foundation. This grant is awarded annually to one graduating senior in New Jersey who enrolls full-time in an accredited university or college within the United States. See Mrs. Gatson for more information. The deadline for submission is April 1, 2015.

Anyone interested in participating in a service project should see Mrs. Cottman-Pierangeli in C38 for a list of current and proposed projects.

Get Up and Move After School Activities include Aerobic Kickboxing on Tuesdays, Yoga on Wednesdays, Zumba on Thursdays. All activities are held in C38 from 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm.

Representatives from various colleges will be visiting Salem High School. You can sign up to see them in the Guidance Office.

Information for various art contests is posted outside C35, the art room. Various awards and/or scholarships are available throughout the year so please look often if interested.

All young men are reminded that when you turn eighteen you must register for Selective Service within 30 days of your birthday.  Not registering is a felony.  You will be fined $250,000 and you may also have to serve up to 5 years in prison.  You will also lose certain benefits such as student financial aid, government employment, and US citizenship for male immigrants.  Registration forms are available in the Main Office and at your local post office or you can register online at www.sss.gov
