ram Salem High School

October 31, 2014

Help the American Red Cross with Operation Holiday Cheer by supporting our South Jersey troops. Salem High School will be collecting small essential items for our troops, from November 1 to November 21. Donation Boxes will be available in the cafeteria, main office and the library. Student volunteers are needed, please see Ms. Bower or Mrs. Mutter to volunteer your time. Student helpers are needed to make & hang signs, and to collect & organize the donations.

SENIORS AND JUNIORS!!!! The National Association for College Admission Counseling will sponsor a College Fair on Thursday, November 13th at the Convention Center in Atlantic City. This is usually the largest College Fair in the area. Salem High School will run two (2) buses to the fair. This is an excellent opportunity to get college applications and other information. Many colleges will waive the application fee if you apply at the Fair. Please make plans to attend. You must sign up in the Guidance Office and return a signed parent/guardian permission slip by Tuesday, November 11th. This trip is for Seniors and Juniors only. This is very important! Please take a copy of the flyer from the counter because you will need to go online to register for the fair. Don’t forget that grades, absences and demerits will be considered when deciding which students will be allowed to participate.

Mr. Mulhorn, Mrs. Pell, and Mr. Roberts plan to meet with a cross-section of students for lunch once a month in the D46 to discuss what is happening and what you would like to see happen at Salem High School. The second meeting of this group will be Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 am. Invitations will be handed out in homeroom today.

On Wednesday, October 29th through Sunday, November 2nd the City of Salem's curfew will be from 8:00 pm - 6:00 am. Halloween "Trick or Treat" hours on Friday, October 31st will be from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
