Note from Superintendent Kelley (October 30, 2025)
The NJDOE is conducting a survey as part of a state-mandated examination of school funding policies. This is a chance for our community to provide input on how New Jersey schools are funded.

Online Registration for 2025-2026 School Year
We have exciting news! You can complete your child(ren)'s annual summer packet paperwork for the 2025-2026 school year online.
What's Changing?
We are making it easier to fill out the packet of information we usually mail to you in the summer! Instead of mailing paper packets, you can now fill out this information online using your computer, tablet, or phone. If you prefer to receive the paper packet, just contact your school.
What Do You Need to Do?
Forgot your username? Call your school office. They can help you.
Once you submit the forms, you will be able to see your child's school information for the new year. Schools will also include your child’s schedule with their welcome packets.
Need Help?
Our office staff is here to help! We can help you:
- Over the phone
- In person at school
Thank you for helping us make this process easier for everyone.

Need a little help feeding your kids when school is out for summer?
Learn how the Summer EBT Program can help you!
In New Jersey, Summer EBT benefits will be loaded onto an EBT card and mailed to your home. If eligible, you can use the benefits to buy food like fruits, vegetables, meat, whole grains, and dairy at grocery stores, farmers markets, and other places that accept WIC or SNAP EBT benefits. Summer EBT is a convenient way for you to help your children thrive.

Kindness Rocks at Salem Middle School
SMS 7th graders created this beautiful kindness rock garden in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. They dug out grass, added mulch, planted shrubs, and arranged kindness rocks around our school sign to spread positivity throughout our school community.
