The ARC / PSE&G Day in the Sun 2026
On Saturday, May 9th, The ARC of Salem County and PSE&G will sponsor the annual Day in the Sun. This is a Special Olympics type event for people of all ages. It is completely staffed by volunteers while being well organized and insured.
The event is held at Salem Community College Field House. The fun begins around 10am and ends around 2pm. Participants are asked to arrive by 9:30am to allow time for registration which includes A Day in The Sun T-shirt. The event includes games, dancing, an award ceremony, and free lunch. Participants are chaperoned at all times by volunteer “Huggers.” The event takes place rain or shine.
