As we welcome our students back to school tomorrow, ensuring a safe arrival and dismissal process is our top priority. To increase safety around our school zones, we have updated the traffic patterns surrounding Salem Middle School (SMS) and John Fenwick Academy (JFA). 🚗💨
Please review the map graphics and guidelines emailed earlier today to familiarize yourself with the updated routes, crosswalks, and parking restrictions before heading out.
How You Can Help Keep Our Students Safe:
📍 Review the Map: Check the attached diagram to ensure you are familiar with the correct entry points and designated walking areas.
👀 Slow Down & Stay Alert: With increased traffic at the start of the school year, please drive with extra caution, eliminate distractions and obey all posted signs and pavement markings.
🛑 Follow Crossing Guard Directions: Crossing Guards are present to safely manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Please follow their guidance at all times. 🦺
⏰ Allow Extra Time: Expect minor delays as everyone adjusts to these new routines during the first few weeks of school.
