August 2025
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we embark on the 2025-2026 school year, I am pleased to present our Annual Action Plan, a comprehensive roadmap that will guide our collective efforts toward educational excellence and student success. The foundation of our planning process rests on a fundamental principle: alignment. Through careful collaboration and open dialogue, we have worked to ensure that every member of our school community shares a mutual understanding of our common goals. This alignment gives shared meaning to our work at John Fenwick Academy, creating the unity of purpose necessary to successfully accomplish our organizational objectives. Our Annual Action Plan represents the culmination of a truly collaborative exercise that has embraced the diverse perspectives of all stakeholders. Most importantly, our dedicated teachers and school leadership team have been central to this planning process. By incorporating the insights, priorities, and solutions proposed by our entire school community, we have developed a plan that reflects our collective wisdom and strengthens our shared commitment to its implementation. At the heart of our approach is a results-focused, practice-driven planning process that serves as the cornerstone of our continuous improvement efforts. This methodology makes a critical distinction between our "ends" and our "means." Our ends are clearly defined: explicit student achievement targets to which we will hold ourselves accountable. Our means are the carefully selected "vital few" high leverage practices, strategies, and key actions that we believe will be most effective in accelerating student learning and achievement for every child at John Fenwick Academy. As we move forward together in the coming year, I am confident that this thoughtful, collaborative approach to planning will enable us to create meaningful opportunities for growth and success for all our students. The plan you will find in the following pages represents not just our aspirations, but our firm commitment to excellence in education. Thank you for your continued dedication to the mission of John Fenwick Academy. Together, we will make this a remarkable year of learning and achievement.
